Hello! I'm Kayla Cameron, founder of Project Artistry, which I officially launched in 2016. With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, my expertise spans Bridal, Editorial, and Special FX makeup. My journey began in Los Angeles, California, where I honed my craft at Cinema Makeup School. Eventually, my family brought me back to Texas, where I worked with renowned cosmetic brands like Stila, Smashbox, IT Cosmetics, and MAC.

Over time, I found myself growing frustrated with the retail side of the industry. Transitioning into management only amplified the challenges to my work-life balance. This realization inspired me to take everything I had learned and create a company that prioritizes the client experience. At Project Artistry, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do—we welcome and celebrate people from all walks of life.

Every day, I continue to refine my skills and strive to deliver exceptional artistry tailored to each client’s vision. My work has been featured in editorial shoots for publications such as Texas Monthly, Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue, Imirage Magazine, and MSNBC. I've also had the privilege of working in the film industry on projects with Lionsgate and Paramount.
