Hello! My name is Kayla Cameron. I officially created Project Artistry in 2016. I have been in the beauty industry for 10 plus years with experience in everything from Bridal to Editorial to Special FX. I began my career in Los Angeles, California where I attended Cinema Makeup School. My family brought me home to Texas where I have worked for multiple cosmetic companies including Stila, Smashbox, IT Cosmetics and MAC. I began to grow frustrated with the retail world and after moving into management my work-life balance was no longer very balanced. I decided to take everything I had learned and created a company that caters to the client experience. I strive for inclusivity and to have a brand and company that accepts all people, no matter what walk of life. I continue to grow daily and pride myself on my artistry skills and ability to execute any desired look the client may have. I have been apart of numerous editorial shoots with some of my work being featured in Texas Monthly, Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue, Imirage Magazine, as well as MSNBC.
